Welcome to Animal Medical Clinic of South Boston's boarding facility. We offer this service to our clients so that they can feel comfortable about leaving their pets while they are away. For your pet's health and those of other boarders, we require that dogs be current on Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccinations as well as have a negative fecal within the last year. For cats, we require they be current on Feline Distemper (FVRCP) and Rabies vaccinations. To ensure the comfort of all animals, if we detect any signs of fleas, ticks or intestinal parasites your pet will be treated at your expense. Please understand that while we do our best for our boarders, a small percentage of animals will inevitably go home with gastrointestinal or respiratory symptoms. This is a known risk at any boarding kennel. Rarely do these animals require treatment, but if such is necessary, you will be responsible for those costs. Again, we do our best, but collars, leashes, blankets and toys may be lost or damaged. Consequently, we try to deter owners from leaving personal belongings. We will provide your pet with comfortable, soft bedding during his/her stay with us. If your pet has special needs or requires medication to be given during his/her stay with us, we will gladly provide this service at a nominal fee. If, for any reason, your pet requires emergency treatment, please understand that we will provide that treatment and then try to contact you at your emergency phone number. It is not always possible to contact you prior to initiation of treatment. Pets will ONLY be discharged during the following office hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM Electronic Signature Below (type First and Last Name):
