Veterinary Assistant/ Receptionist I started working at Animal Medical Clinic in 2018 and have been working here since. I picked this field because I have always loved animals and I knew I always wanted to help them. Animals truly make everything better. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and son and our dogs, goats, horses and chickens. I also enjoy riding horses, hunting and fishing. If I could be any animal I would be a wolf. They are so wild and free and they protect their own and that's something I strive to be! |

Receptionist I started working here at Animal Medical Clinic in 2021. Before that I worked at another clinic in Salem giving me 14 years experience in VetMed. I picked this career because I have always loved animals. In my free time I love traveling, going to concerts and visiting/spending time with family. If I could be any animal I would be a Bald Eagle. I have always wanted to be a bird and I chose the Eagle because they are free and protected. |

Veterinary Technician/ Surgery Tech Started working at AMC in October 2025. I started working in VetMed since 2022, I started as a receptionist while I was in Veterinary Technology school in Rocky Mount, NC. I chose to work in VetMed because I always wanted to work with animals since I was little. I wanted to be a voice for animals who don't have the ability to tell us what is wrong and help owners have a better understanding on how to care for their animals, what all that entails, and help them learn about any illnesses their animals may be diagnosed with. I also was always the family member who joined in with close relatives when their animals sadly had to be euthanized. So I wanted to be able to help support other pet owners during hard times just like I did for my family growing up. In my free time I like to read, paint/anything crafty, spend time with my 2 dogs Bo & Hal and my many cats. If I could be any animal, I would be a Tiger because they are my favorite animal, they are beautiful and powerful. |
Laura Veterinary Assistant I've been fortunate to be around animals my whole life. Growing up on a farm in Clover showed me how much care animals require. I began my journey in Vet Medicine in 2014. In July 2025, I joined Animal Medical Clinic of South Boston as a Vet Assistant! When I'm not helping at the clinic, I enjoy listening to loud bass/rap music, traveling and spending time with my son and pets. While Camels are my favorite animal, if I could be any animal I think I'd be a cat so I could nap any time I wanted. |
